1.Door jamb

• Materials: solid wood, PVC, aluminum alloy, steel, etc. Choose according to the type of door and the usage environment.
• Function: Bear the weight of the door leaf, fix the position of the hinges, and maintain the verticality of the door.
• Installation points: It should be perpendicular to the reserved hole in the wall and firmly fixed with expansion bolts or special door frame screws. After installation, horizontal and vertical corrections should be made.

• Material: The same as the column. Materials with higher hardness can be selected to enhance rigidity.
• Function: Connect the left and right columns, bear the tensile force of the overall frame, and ensure the stability of the door opening size.
• Installation points: The beam should be on the same plane as the column. Sufficient thickness should be reserved on the lower side of the beam to allow for the addition of decorative panels.

 3.Threshold / Sill

• Types: Floor-standing thresholds, hidden thresholds (without obvious protrusions), water-sealed thresholds (with drainage channels).
• Function: Prevent rainwater from flowing back, dust-proof and heat-insulating, sealed and soundproof.
• Installation points: The threshold and the ground must achieve a flatness within ±2 mm on the horizontal surface. For outdoor entrance doors, waterproofing and joint filling treatment should also be done well.

 Door Leaf

Hinges & Pivot

1.Butt Hinges

• Type: Three-piece type, fully concealed type, adjustable type.
• Function: Connect the door leaf to the door frame and support the opening and closing of the door leaf. It can bear loads ranging from 40 kg to 100 kg.
• Installation points: The depth and thickness of the side cutting groove of the hinge should match that of the hinge plate, and guide holes should be pre-drilled at the position of the screw holes.

2.Pivot Hinges

• It is used for super-large, heavy-duty doors or revolving doors. With a bearing design, it has a high load-bearing capacity and an opening Angle of up to 360°.
• Adjustment method: The verticality and levelness of the door leaf can be fine-tuned by the screws at the upper and lower ends.

Locking System

1.lock body

• Types: Mortise type, cylinder type (Cylindrical), electric lock, etc.
• Function: Main locking mechanism, including lock tongue, lock bolt and lock core spring.

2.lock cylinder

• Specification: Grade C, Grade B, Grade A, selected according to the anti-picking level; Anti-fork with a plug-in protective cover.
• Types: Mechanical keys, fingerprints, passwords, card swiping, remote intelligent control, etc.

3.handling 

• Form: Knob type, lever type, handle type; The material options include zinc alloy, stainless steel, aluminum alloy and copper.
• Function: To work in conjunction with lock operations, enhance the comfort and decorative effect of the handle.

4.Auxiliary lock

• Chain locks, anti-theft door bolts, night small locks, latches, etc., are used for additional fixation or safety protection.
• The installation height is usually at the top of the door leaf, which is convenient for use when the door is opened to a safe gap. 

Sealing & Soundproofing

1.Peripheral sealing strip

• Materials: EPDM rubber, silicone, polyurethane sponge.
• Functions: Wind and rain sealing, dust isolation, mosquito prevention, noise reduction; It is usually pasted along the inner side of the door frame and the edge of the door leaf.
• Installation points: Cut and join at an Angle to avoid air leakage at right-angle breaks.

2.Automatic Drop Seal

• Function: When the door is closed, it automatically descends and fits the ground smoothly. When the door is opened, it automatically retracts.
• Applicable to: wooden doors, metal doors, fireproof doors, etc. The effect is better than that of traditional brushed strips.

3.Sound insulation filling

• Inside solid wood or composite doors, core materials such as sound insulation cotton, honeycomb aluminum, and mineral wool can be filled to enhance the sound insulation effect by 30 to 40 dB. 

Protective & Decorative Accessories

1.Door Stop & Holder

• It is used to fix the opening Angle of the door leaf and prevent the door handle from hitting the wall.
• Material: stainless steel, galvanized steel, engineering plastic. The suction force is determined by magnetic force or spring.

2.bumper strip

• It can be installed behind door handles or on walls to cushion impacts and protect the walls and door bodies.

3.Door casing/edge banding

• It covers the gap between the wall and the door frame, and has strong decorative properties. Mostly made of PVC, solid wood or composite wire.

4.Doorbells, peepholes, house numbers and surrounding lighting fixtures

• Both practical and decorative, the house numbers are mostly made of brushed stainless steel or aluminum alloy. The cat's eye has a wide field of vision with an Angle of over 180°.
