For the convenience of demonstration, this installation manual is for the installation demonstration of products with a wall length of 4 meters * telescopic 2.5 meters. Only step-by-step explanation is provided. The installation of the full box telescopic awning should be carried out in accordance with the normal construction specifications: more than two people, and equipped with safety helmet, labor gloves and other protective equipment, and in strict accordance with the installation steps, the use of correct and qualified installation tools, to ensure the smooth and safe installation process.

Product Customization and Specification Confirmation

Before installation begins, first customize the sunshade size according to the wall length and desired extension. For example, for a wall length of 4 m with a 2.5 m extension model, the total retracted length equals the sum of both end brackets and the arm lengths, plus an additional 16 cm clearance. The arm’s actual extension corresponds to its nominal travel: a 2.5 m travel yields an actual extension of 1.54 m. You must also leave at least 8 cm (without a center support) or 10 cm (with a center support) clearance between each arm and between each arm and its bracket to avoid wall‑bore interference.

Sunshade Structure and Components

The fully enclosed box‑type sunshade consists of:

Brackets and Arms: support the main body and enable retraction/extension;

Optional Center Support: provides better load distribution on wider spans;

Enclosure Housing: contains the fabric and drive mechanism;

Motor and Remote Control: provide powered opening/closing;

Accessory Kit: expansion bolts, mounting clips, track adjusters, etc.

Installation Tools and Safety

Pre‑Installation Measurement and Marking

Measure Total Span: Lay the sunshade horizontally at the intended mounting height and measure the center‑to‑center distance between the end brackets.

Mark Mounting Clips: Transfer those measurements onto the wall and mark all clip positions, then use a laser level to ensure the marks are perfectly level.

Pre‑set Expansion Bolts: Drill holes at each mark, insert the expansion bolts, and hand‑tighten until each clip is secure and level, maintaining the correct offset from the ceiling.

Main Assembly and Securing

Lift the sunshade body onto all mounting clips and ensure each hook is fully engaged.

Confirm the housing’s drip rail is facing downward and that each arm’s load point is aligned perpendicularly with its clip.

Reinstall any mounting covers and fully tighten all fasteners so the sunshade remains secure during operation.

Motor Programming and Remote Pairing

Power on the unit, open the remote’s battery cover, press the “P2” pairing button twice, then press the open/close key to complete the infrared code match.

Test the open/close function to verify smooth movement; if it is unresponsive or slow, repeat the pairing procedure.

Level and Tilt Adjustment

After installation:

Check Level: Verify the sunshade is level across its full width.

Adjust Tilt: Insert a 6 × 20 mm hex key into the adjustment hole behind the clip; turn clockwise to lower the tilt or counterclockwise to raise it until it meets the design slope.

Once aligned, fully tighten all screws and replace protective caps to prevent water or debris ingress.

Final Inspection and Maintenance Recommendations

Operate the sunshade through several open/close cycles to ensure smooth, quiet operation without binding. We recommend periodically checking bolt tightness, lubricating the track and arm joints, and cleaning any debris from the enclosure housing to extend product life.
